Samuel Robert Dority, 53, Cumberland City, died Sunday, August 30,2009, at Baptist Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2pm Wednesday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.Richard Neal ,Bro.Norman Mackins officiating. Burial will be in Robert Dority Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30am till 8pm Tuesday and from 8am till service Wednesday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Feb.15,1956 in Erin,Tn. son of the late Robert Douglas Dority and Earlene Beecham Dority of Cumberland City,Tn.He was preceded by his brother Jimmy Dority. Survivors include his wife Mary Jo Rice Dority and his mother Earlene Dority both of Cumberland City,Tn.one son Jason Dority of Robertson County,Tn. two daughters Shannon Hambley of Cunningham,Tn.Lesley Hulleman of Clarksville,Tn.two step daughters Melissa Rogers of Clarksville,Tn.Susan Neblett of Cunningham,Tn.three brothers Paul Dority, Donald Dority, Jerry Dority,one sister Susan Nichols all of Cumberland City,Tn. eight grandchildren.
