Sammy Ray McKnight, 66, Clarksville, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at in Huntington, WV. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Pastor Stan McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born September 28, 1943 in Kenova, WV and was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel Hicks McKnight; and his wife, Chong Sik Choi McKnight. Mr. McKnight retired with the rank of MSG from the US Army, was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and an avid Cincinnati Reds fan since 1956. Survivors include his sisters, Joyce Thacker, Catlettsburg, KY, Linda C. Trapp, Apopka, FL; and his brother, James H. McKnight, Catlettsburg, KY.
