Sammie (Sam)Bass Sr. - 1948 Sammie (Sam) Bass Sr., 62, Cumberland City, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at Clarksville,Tn.. A celebration of life service will be held at 11am Sunday at Nave Funeral Home Erin Chapel with Bro.Charlie Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2pm until 8pm with masonic service at 7pm Saturday and from 8am until service Sunday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Sam was born November 6, 1948 in Clarksville,Tn. son of the late Ernest and Evelyn Howell Bass. He was a member of Masonic lodge # 300. Survivors include his wife Dot Bass of Cumberland City,Tn.two sons Sammie Bass Jr. of Tn.Ridge,Tn.Jeff Moore of Cumberland City,Tn. two daughters Melisia Dillard, Kathey Mathis both of Erin,Tn. two brothers Billy Bass of Erin,Tn.Jimmy Bass of Vanleer,Tn.four sisters Betty Locke of Gallatin,Tn.Sarah Bass and Nelda Carpenter, Hildia Adkins all of Erin,Tn. 12 grandchildren.
