Sallie Louise Shelton, age 91, departed this life on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at her home in Cumberland Furnace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Sallie entered into this life on April 28, 1926 in Dickson County to the late Robert Thomas Shelton and Mary Ann Underwood Shelton. She was retired from her job with Schrader's in Dickson where she was an Inspector.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Erwin Lee Shelton. Sallie is survived by her children, Leo Shelton and Linda Williams (David). She was the grandmother of five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
