Ryman Brake

Mr.Ryman Brake, 87, Tn.Ridge, died Saturday, July 26,2008, at Signature Healthcare of Erin. The funeral will be held at 2pm Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Sis.Beverly Dycus and Sis,Denise Settles officiating. Burial will be in McIntosh Cemetery Tn.Ridge. Visitation will be from 3pm till 8pm with masonic service at 7pm Monday and from 8am till service Tuesday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born March 20,1921 in Stewart County,the son of the late Clayborn and Bertha Hudson Brake. Mr. Brake was a retired sawmill operator and postal employee. He was a member of Tennessee Ridge Methodist Church and the Wisdom Lodge #300 F.&A.M. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Frances Horner Brake, two brothers, Raymond Brake and Orman Brake. Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Tommy) Rye, Waverly and Bonnie (Eddie) Rye, Erin; 3 grandchildren, Tommy Callis and Beth Rye, Erin and Richard Rye, Waverly and 5 great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws Inez Brake, Erin, Martha Jones, Kilgore, Tx. and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lona and Gene Dickey, Arlington, Tx. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brake, Landon Brake, Phil Averitt, Paul Hudson, Brent Dickey, Eric Dickey, Ken Dickey and Lynell Rye. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Mobley, Terrell Flynt, Vernon Mobley, Clint Reynolds, Greg Reynolds, Gene Brown, Carrol Lyle, James Hudson, Bobby Hudson, Steve Hudson and Cody Richardson.
