Ruth Suiter

Ruth Bryant Suiter, 89 of Clarksville, TN, passed away on November 1, 2023, in Guntersville, AL.

Graveside Service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2023 at Pleasantview Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Jeter officiating.

The Suiter family will receive friends from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. Noon Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.

Ruth was born on July 14, 1934, in Clarksville, TN, daughter of the late Alex and Doshie Ferrell Bryant. She retired from Jostens, after 26 years of employment and was a member of Pleasantview Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Gary L. Suiter; siblings, Sarah “Skrippy” McIntosh, Lucy Armstrong, Thelma Perry, Romy Bryant, James Bryant, and Sodie Bryant.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gerry Ruth (Richard) Lewis, Sendia Lee Jeffrey, Glenda Jean Garrett, and James Franklin (Cheryl) Suiter; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the Suiter family ask donations to be made to Pleasantview Baptist Church Family Life Center.
