Ruth Gray

Ruth Gray, age 88, of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Celebration of Life will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Nicholas Lennon officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Ruth entered this life on July 13, 1935, in Stewart County, TN to the late Douglas and Rene Davis Mathis. She was an educational assistant and a member of Park Lane Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Mark Hutson; grandson, Richard Gray, and grandson-in-law, Stacy Brown.

Survivors include her loving husband, Orman A. Gray; children, Tony (Donna) Gray, Bruce (Cynthia) Gray, and Connie Gray Hutson; grandchildren, Margaret (John) Manning, Holly Brown, Sam (Tracy) Hutson, Emily (Ben) Cole, and Tyler Gray, nine great-grandchildren, and sister, Frances (James Roy) Settle.

Pallbearers will be great-grandsons, Austin Brown, Anderson Brown, Caleb Hutson, and Jack Manning.
