Ruth Clark

Ruth Barnett Clark, 93, Clarksville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at her home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman and Dr. Felts Dent officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born November 15, 1914 in Montgomery County, daughter of James Thomas Barnett and Susan Hester Hewell Barnett. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of sixty-two years, Russell Crow Clark. Mrs. Clark was the retired production manager of Barnett Instrument Company, a member and former Sunday School teacher of Hilldale Baptist Church and First Baptist Church where she also belonged to the Senior Adult Bible Study. Survivors include her children, Don R. (Ann) Clark, of Port Royal, Gloria C. (Dwight) Dickson, of Clarksville, Ted B. (Debby) Clark, of Henderson, KY, Faye C. (Eddie) Miller, of Clarksville; sister-in-law, Ruth Barnett, Clarksville; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandson-in-laws, Russ Clark, Marty Clark, Dwight Dickson Jr., Brent Clark, Dwayne Miller, Doug Martin, Eric Powers,Joe LaRocco and Rob Knox.
