Rusty Simpson Mr.Charles Marion (Rusty)Simpson, 87, Erin,Tn., died Wednesday, September 17,2008, at Trinity Hospital. The funeral will be held at 1pm Friday at Erin United Methodist Church with Rev.Kenneth Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5pm till 8pm Thursday at the funeral home and from 11am till service Friday at Erin United Methodist Church. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Febuary 17,1921 in Stewart County,Tn.Son of the late Elijah and Dora Hackworth Simpson.He was preceded in death by six brothers. He was a member of Erin United Methodist Church and was a World War II Navy Veteran. Mr.Simpson is survived by his wife of 59 years Edna Byde Sanders Simpson of Erin,Tn.two daughters Lynne(Steve)Shores and Annette(Dale)Pacetti both of Brentwood,Tn.four grandchildren Becca(Cory)Fox of Bentonville,Ar.Margaret Shores, Will Pacetti, Virginia Pacetti all of Brentwood,Tn.one brother Lafayette Simpson of Burns,Tn.two sisters Sadie Mathis of Erin,Tn.and Dorothy Hopper of Jackson,Tn. Pallbearers will be Sandy Fussell, Fred Clark, Wilbur Lewis, Cass Rye, Jeff Jerles, Jim Story. In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Erin United Methodist Church.
