CUNNIGHAM– Lavern “Rusty” Anthony
Schindorf, age 86 of Cunningham, passed away September 5, 2018 at Signature Health Care.
Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Louise United Methodist
Church with Craig Pate officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday Rusty was born June 24, 1932 in Baldwin, MI to
the late Edward and Crescentia Landrie Schindorf. He served in the United States Marine Corp,
worked as a Contractor and was a member of the Louise United Methodist Church. Rusty was
a member of McAllister Masonic Lodge # 402. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret
Hankins Schindorf. Left to cherish his memory are friends and caregivers, Mark and Sandra Lee
Freese; nephew, Terry Niles, and sisters, Charlotte Cook and Ethel Niles.
