Russell Gordon Ward, 48, Clarksville, died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
A celebration of his life will be held 10 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemeterty West, Hopkinsville with full military honors.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Ward was born February 19, 1963 in Baltimore, MD. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Louise Pope Garde; and his father, Gordon Melva Ward.
He was of the Episcopalian faith, a retired U.S. Navy Veteran and a service manager for Wal-Mart Auto Center.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Beck Ward, Clarksville; daughters, Brittney (Jerick) Guinto, Fort Hood, TX, Victoria Walker, Trezevant, TN; brother, Arthur Garde III, Prince Frederick, MD; sisters, Regina Francis, Baltimore, MD, Louise Lloyd, Pasadena, MD; and granddaughter, Alliyah Grace Guinto.
