Russell McDaniel

Colum Russell McDaniel, 78 of Fredonia, TN passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home. 

Russell was born in Detroit MI, son of the late James and Earmer McDaniel. He was raised in Fredonia, TN; Russell spent 42 years working for State Stove on the assembly line. He was a loving father and friend; he also enjoyed gardening and coaching softball. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Russell McDaniel and siblings Pete, Jimmy, Dean, Nancy and Kenny. 

Left to cherish Russell’s memory is his daughter, Pennie Aten, and her husband Bradley; granddaughters, Caitlin and Jenna Aten; brother, Jerrell (Jean) McDaniel; and sister, Linda Goff.
