Ruby Wilkins

Ruby Blanche Wilkins, 78, Clarksville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at her home. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. John Black officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
She was born September 9, 1928 in Todd Co., KY, daughter of Austin Bell Wilkins and Tyler Walton Wilkins. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Guthrie, KY. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, David Wilkins.
She is survived by brothers James Roy Wilkins of IL, Virgil Wilkins of Glasgow, KY, Austin Bell Wilkins, Jr, of Fredonia, TN, Robert Wilkins of Clarksville, and Michael Wilkins of Cumberland Furnace; sisters Hazel Patterson of Louisville, KY, Mildred Scott of Louisville, Roberta Goldsmith of Louisville, Kathryn Rittenberry of Cumberland Furnace, Dorothy Harp of Clarksville, Laura Peyser of Iowa, Juanita Rittenberry of Chapmansboro, TN, and Mary Frances Rittenberry of Clarksville.
Members of the family will serve as pallbearers.
