Ruby Nell Proctor, 76, of Slayden, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Centennial Medical Center, Nashville. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Slayden Emmanuel Church with Bro. James Green officiating. Burial will follow in Center Point Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Monday, September 12 at the church and will continue until the hour of service Tuesday at the church.
Ruby was born March 16, 1935 in Nashville, daughter of William and Beulah Hassell Bull. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband Paul Proctor of Slayden, sons Gary, Billy, and Mike Proctor, all of Slayden, daughter Cynthia Gibson of Highland, Michigan, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be B.J. Proctor, Jason Gibson, Charles Adkins, Faron Morris, Jackie Hodge, and Robert Hodge.
