Ruby Hembree

Ruby Hodges Hembree, age 97 of Cumberland Furnace, TN, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Baggett officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Furnace Cemetery.
The Hembree family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday afternoon.
Ruby entered this life on February 17, 1921 in Cunningham, TN, daughter to the late Henry and Lucy Hollis Hodges. Ruby developed a love for working on the farm at an early age, had a passion for quilting, playing cards, but most of all loved her family.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Hembree; siblings, Robert, Clifton, Jack, Myrtle, Mildred, and Rushie.
Survivors include her loving son, Phillip Hembree (Annette); grandchildren, Chris Hembree, Danny Hembree, Levi Hembree, and Billy Musser. Ruby also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Ashton Hembree, Caden Hembree, Faith Musser, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Earl Graven, Nick Lovelace, Rickey Wood, Billy Hodges,Jason Hodges, and Billy Franklin Hodges.
