Ruby Dennis

Mrs. Ruby (Mama Red) Loretta Dennis, seventy-eight of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away at Signature Health Care in Erin, TN on Friday, February fifth, twenty sixteen.
Funeral services will be held for her on Tuesday, February the ninth at eleven o’clock in the morning. The family will be receiving visitors from three o’clock until eight o’clock on Monday, February eighth. A second visitation will be held from eight in the morning until time of service on Tuesday. Her internment will follow the service, at McDonald Cemetery in Tennessee Ridge.
Mrs. Ruby Dennis was born Ruby Ferrell to Mr. Leonard (Poke) Ferrell and Mrs. Edna Self Ferrell on August the first, nineteen thirty-seven. She was preceded in death by both of her parents as well as her loving husband Louis Dennis; brothers, Len “Jack” Ferrell, Leonard Coyce Ferrell, and sisters, Jennifer Dew, and Doris Clevenger.
She leaves behind three sons; Bo Dennis, Stevie Dennis, and Greg Dennis, two daughters; Lois Weaver and Karen Cary, brother; Donald Ferrell, and two sisters; Earlene Milam and Barbra Eads. She also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers will be Butch Groves, Brandon Dennis, Jeff Holcomb, Matt Hylemon, Will Hylemon, and Gavin Dennis.
