Roy Mathis

Roy was born August 27, 1943 in Erin,Tn. son of the late Sam Mathis and Clatie Kennedy Mathis.He had a passion of playing fiddle.Funeral service will be 11am Friday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with bro. Artist Waynick officiating.Visitation will be from 4:30pm until 8pm Thursday and from 8am until service Friday at the funeral home.Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.Survivors include his wife Margaret Daniel Mathis of Cumberland City,Tn. one son Chris Mathis of Erin,Tn. two brothers Sam Mathis of Erin,Tn. Alfred Mathis of Cumberland City, Tn. one sister Lavern Tinker of Clarksville,Tn. two grandsons Garrett and Lane Mathis both of Erin,Tn.Pallbeaers will be Clay Mathis, Brian Mathis, Gary Mathis, Jeff Mathis, Norman Hall Jr. Al Gudino.
