Roy Darnell

Roy C. Darnell, age 84, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at his home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Monday, July 29, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Ferrell and Rev. Kyle Harris. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
Roy entered this life on December 31, 1928 in Montgomery County, son to the late Kell and Rosie Lisenbee Darnell. He was a retired salesman for the Coca-Cola Company and Darnell's Construction Company.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters and a grandson, Bobby Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Witter Darnell, his children: Roy D. Darnell (Dannie), Janice Ferrell (Archie), Renee Morrison (Johnny), James Darnell, and Shaun Darnell; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Bryant, Daniel Darnell, Justin Whitehead, Travis Whitehead, Glen Ferrell, Jason Tabor, Gary Tallman, Shaun Darnell, and James Darnell.
