Roxie Dishman, 100 of Clarksville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Signature Healthcare.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday.
Roxie was born on November 10, 1915 in Brotherton, TN, the daughter of the late James L. Hunter and Barbara West Hunter. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Dancey Clay Jackson; second husband, Thomas Dishman; daughter, Peggy Jones; sister, Ardith Turner; brothers, James Hunter, Arvel Hunter, and Billy Ray Hunter.
Survivors include her sons, Charles Ray Jackson, Bobby Clay (Laverne) Jackson, and Thomas Edward (Judy) Jackson; sister, Johnnie Mildred Anderson; son-in-law, Don Jones; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry Joe Knight, Michael Knight, David Knight, Tommy Jackson, Johnny Jackson, and Austin Jackson.
