Rose Pera Amos, age 82 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Rose was born on July 23, 1932, the daughter of Rossario Pera and Nannie Maude Ingle Ray. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Amos; brother, Charles Pera; sisters, Gloria Pera Jones, Anne Pera Jenkins, and Vivian Pera Johnson.
She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church and attended Hilldale Baptist Church. She was employed by Mid-Cumberland Meals on Wheels.
Rose is survived by her son, Randy (Belinda) Shultz; daughter, Beth (Kenny) Morphew; grandchildren, Jennifer A. (Frank) Hodge, Rebecca M. (Shane) Brown, Stephanie R. (Zach) Johnson, and Christopher T. Shultz; 5 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Rose was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her 5 great-grandchildren. She was kind and compassionate and was a friend to so many.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
