Rosa Mai Ferrell Tanner, 80 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at Signature Healthcare of Clarksville.
A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Nave Funeral Chapel, Erin with the Rev. Richard Hughes officiating. Burial will be in McDonald Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. till 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Rosa was born May 4, 1933 in Houston County, TN daughter of the late, Kelly and Lucille Stavely Ferrell. She was homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Wayne Tanner and a sister, Elizabeth Hankins.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband, Elmer Tanner and son, Michael Tanner both of Clarksville; granddaughters, Lacey Marie, Autumn and Bonnie Tanner; brother, Leon (Ann) Ferrell of Cunningham; sister, Bonnie (Leslie) Stephenson of Daytona Beach, FL.
Pallbearers will be, Thomas Tanner, Tracey Tanner, Harold Ferrell, Gene Ferrell, Wesley Stavely and Scott Potter.
