Ronnie Pruitt

Ronald (Ronnie) Craig Pruitt, 49, Clarksville, died Friday, March 28, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Jim Woodard and Rev. Richard Gaia officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. He was born June 5, 1958 in Gallatin, TN, son of Ronald Gilbert Pruitt and Grace Beasley Pruitt. Mr. Pruitt was a Deputy Sheriff with the Montgomery Co. Sheriff's Office, and was a member of the National Sheriff's Associatioon and New Providence Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother. In addition to his father and step mother, Sue Pruitt, both of Springfield, he is survived by his wife, Angela Joiner Pruitt of Clarksville; sons Craig (Jamie) Pruitt of Clarksville and Richard Herrell of Louisville, KY; daughter Andrea McLane of Clarksville; brother Kenny (Sherrie) Pruitt; sister Janet (Robert, Jr.) Pruitt Cobasky; and grandchildren Caleb Roberts, Aubrey Allen, and Cole Pruitt Pallbearers will be Don Newlove, Mike Manzella, Larry Frost, Mike Simpson, O'Neal Winters, and Mike Oliver. Honorary pallbearers will be Craig Pruitt and Richard Herrell. Arrangements in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
