Ronnie "Cookie" Cook, age 63, of Erin, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Centennial Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Baggett's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
"Cookie" entered this life on December 10, 1949 in Montgomery County, son to Norris and Peggy Smith Cook. He was a farmer and a Baptist. Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Baggett Cook, his son, Ronnie Cook, Jr., and grandson, Anthony Michael Cook.
Survivors include his fiancé, Gail Dreaden of Erin, daughters, Lisa Hopkins (Jason) of Erin and Jennifer Griffin (Jessie) of Clarksville; brothers Donnie Moody, Dean Moody, Kenny Moody, Bill Carney, Randy Cook, and Bobby Cook; sisters, Ann Smith, Hope Moody, and Theresa Mohon. He was the loving grandfather of sixteen grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Hopkins, Tim Parrott, Chris Hopkins, Daniel Dreaden, Jessie Griffin, and Terry Dreaden.
