Ronald Snow, age 69, passed away Wednesday evening, August 21, 2013 in Highland Healthcare Facility, Highland, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville with Todd Camp officiating. Graveside services will be at 2pm Tuesday at Hefflin Cemetery in Dover, Tennessee with Nave Funeral Home in charge of local arrangments. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon - 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Donnell - Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville. For those who desire, memorials may be made to the Mulberry Grove, Illinois veteran's organizations.
Ronald Murl Snow the son of Murl Kimbro Snow, who survives and Jennie Williams Snow, was born November 7, 1943 in Donnellson, Illinois. He grew up around Greenville, attended the local schools and graduated from Mulberry Grove High School. Mr. Snow served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged. Ronald drove a truck for many companies in the area and worked at Carlyle Rubber.
Ronald and Amanda Lou Ford were united in marriage on October 3, 1971 in Tennessee. She passed away October 5, 2008.
Surviving are his children; Phillip (Mendi) Snow of Indiana, Steven (Tanya) Snow of Alabama, Jennie Snow of Florida and Sandra (Joey) Self of Tennessee. He is also survived by his father Murl and 8 wonderful grandchildren and a sister Sandra Kay Fought of Florida.
Mr. Snow is preceded in death by his wife, sister Retha Larson and his mother.
