Ronald Hastings

Ronald Dillard Hastings, age 72 of Erin, TN, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Willie Lyle officiating. An additional celebration of life service will be held on 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the Decherd United Methodist Church in Decherd, TN. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday evening, and again from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home, with an additional visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Decherd United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd, TN.
Ronald entered this life on December 18, 1948 in Decherd, TN, son to Eugene Dillard Hastings and Margaret Wiseman Hastings. Ronald loved spending time with his family and fishing. He was active in the JC’s where he was a former president, he was also a proud Eagle Scout.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Sean Eric Hastings.
Ronald leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Hastings; two sons, Ronald Eugene Hastings, Rodney Edward Hastings (Michelle). Ronald also leaves behind his loving grandchildren; Kelsey Hastings (Nick), Brandon Hastings (Lucy), Nicholas Hastings, Kaitlyn Hastings, Ashyn Hastings; great-grandchildren, Sadie Hastings, Kyra Hastings, Raelynn Nagle and Wyatt Hastings.
Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.
