Roger Dale Stevens, 55, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens, Dover, TN. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Roger was born in Germany on November 4, 1956 to the late Dale Franklin Stevens and Docia Lough Stevens. Roger provided contract services to Ft. Campbell Army Base. He was a distinguished veteran of the US Army and a Baptist. Roger was an avid sportsman.
In addition to his mother of Clarksville, survivors include his wife, Sharon Sandifer Stevens of Clarksville; his son, Heath Stevens and wife Heather of Indian Mound; daughters, Samantha Bridges and husband Tim of Clarksville, Kimberly Romaine and husband Dan of Columbia, SC, and Virginia Stevens of Dover; brothers, Charles Franklin Stevens and wife Sharon of Clarksville, John Robert Stevens of Clarksville, and Darin Wayne Stevens of Clarksville; sister, Karin Jane Sanderson and husband Don of Dover; and grandchildren, Krystan Bridges, Chad Love, Haylea Stevens, Deven Love, Parker Romaine, Timmy Bridges, Hanna Stevens, and Keegan Bridges.
Pallbearers will be Heath Stevens, Tim Bridges, Daniel Romaine, Darin Stevens, Chad Love, and Justin Hopper.
