Roger Gillespie

Roger Lee Gillespie, 62, Clarksville, TN, died Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. The funeral will be held at 11am Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman and Dr. Mike Carrigan officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm till 8pm Monday and from 10am till the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. The remains are to be cremated. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Gillespie was born May 10, 1947 in Pocahontas, VA son of the late Ernest and Vivian Tate Gillespie. Mr. Gillespie was a retired meat cutter having worked for Randall Food Stores in Davenport, Iowa, and Hunter's Cee Bee in Nashville, TN. He attended First Baptist Church of Clarksville, and was a member of Ajax Turner Senior Citizens Center.
