Roger Donovan, Sr.
October 3, 1930 — January 15, 2015
Roger James Donovan, Sr., age 84, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2015 at his home in Clarksville.
A Masonic graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with James Powell officiating. The family will receive friends at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday prior to the service.
Mr. Donovan entered this life on October 3, 1930 in Derry, New Hampshire, son of James W. Donovan and Ina Wilson Donovan. He was retired from the U.S. Army and was a 32nd Degree Mason and Past Master, belonging to Masonic Lodge #761.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Jay Bills Donovan and brothers, Harold, Mahlon, and James Donovan. He is survived by a son, Roger J. Donovan, Jr and his wife Shari; grandchildren, Casey Donovan and Roger J. Donovan III; brothers, Ralph, Harvey, Lester, Richard, and Leon Donovan; and sisters, Margaret Danner, Florence Presley, and Ruth Wells.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Manna Cafe Ministries, 1319 Franklin St., Clarksville, TN 37040.
