Roberta Hall, of East Tawas, age 88, formerly of the Shiloh Community of Montgomery County, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Tendercare Nursing Facility in Tawas City, Michigan. Roberta was born on November 18, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan to James and Mary (VanGuilder) Zebley. She married Thomas Hall and stayed home during her younger years to raise their children and care for the home. Those who knew Roberta will always remember how she truly enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, canning, camping, and crafting with pottery. She was an active member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church for many years. Roberta is survived by her 5 loving children, Janice (Dan) Adams, Raymond Hall, Wesley (Deborah) Hall, Mary (Thomas) Studzinski, and Margaret (Timothy) Droncheff; 6 grandchildren, Veronica, Richard, James, Colleen, Rachel, and Catharine; 1 sister, Lois Thompson; and many dear friends. Roberta is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hall on January 13, 1989, her parents, James and Mary Zebley, and her sister, Catharine Yarbrough. A graveside prayer and burial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Shiloh, Tennessee.
