Robert Wood "Bobby" Covington, age 48, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at his home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Excell Baptist Church with the Revs. Terrell Marcom and Mark Carrigan officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and 3 p.m. until the hour of service Thursday at Excell Baptist Church.
Robert was born April 30, 1963 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, son of Donald George Covington and Ruth Ann Carrigan Daniels. Robert was a carpenter and a member of Excell Baptist Church. He was a 1981 graduate of Clarksville High School.
Robert was preceded in death by his step father, Robert Daniels. Survivors include his mother, Ruth Ann Carrigan Daniels of Clarksville and his father, Donald George Covington of Indian Mound; his grandmother, Rena Swift of Indian Mound; his daughters, Ambrea Tuberville of Clarksville and Charlyn Covington of Clarksville; brothers, James Vernon Covington of Clarksville and Thomas Covington and his wife Debra Jeanne of Anchorage, Alaska; his sisters, Donna Ruth Covington Thomason and her husband Jay of Clarksville and Lois Renee Covington of Anchorage, Alaska; uncles, Dr. Mike Carrigan and his wife Ruth and Rev. Mark Carrigan and his wife Robin; nieces, Heather, Elizabeth, and Ashleigh and nephews, Nick James, Chris, and Johnny
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
