Robert "Tilton" Tomlinson

Robert “Tilton” Tomlinson, age 92 of Erin, TN, passed away February 4, 2022 at Houston County Community Hospital.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Burgess and Bro. Garrett Milliken officiating. Burial will follow in Ben Brown Cemetery.
The Tomlinson family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday morning.
Tilton entered this life on March 31, 1929 in Erin, TN, son to the late James Irvin and Christine Tomlinson. Tilton proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a heavy equipment operator, mechanic and farmer.
In addition to his parents, Tilton was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Tomlinson; siblings, Norma Meadows, Juanita Kennunan, Marilynn Price and Willard “Tomcat” Tomlinson.
Survivors include his loving children, James (Alice) Tomlinson, Sandy (Randy Gill) Shelton, Betty (Greg) Humphrey, Pamela (Wayne) Miller; and sister, Elizabeth Feathersone. Tilton also leaves behind seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chucky Feathersone, Tommy Meadows, Shorty Meadows, Kenneth Meadows, Donnie Black Jerry Lee Black and Ricky Tomlinson.
