Robert Schaffer

Robert Lloyd Schaffer, age 68, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023 at his home.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. John Ewing officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4p.m. until the hour of service.

Robert entered this life on January 10, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a Veteran of The United States Army, and had a long successful career with UPS, retiring in February of 2005. He was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and spent his free time playing golf.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernie and May Schaffer.

Survivors include his loving wife, Cindy Harris Schaffer. They celebrated their 41st anniversary on September 4th. Daughter, Sarah Harris; grandson, Coben Harris; sisters, Jan Curtis and Kathleen Boyd and their families. Robert also leaves behind many friends, whom he considered family.

In lieu of flowers, it was Robert’s wish that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
