Robert W. “Bob” Robinson of Erin, TN died Saturday April 21, 2012 at VA Medical Center, Nashville, TN.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1p.m.Saturday April 28, 2012 at Nave Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West Hopkinsville, KY. Monday April 30, 2012 at 12noon. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday April 27, 2012 and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday April 28, 2012 at Nave Funeral Home.
Robert was born January 21, 1944 in Salem, Ohio son of the late, George Robinson and Mildred Oliver Stewart. Robert was a member of the Arlington Assembly of God Church and the VFW Post # 9689. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Hays Robinson, son, Robert Robinson and daughter, Faye Ann Robinson; brothers, George Ernest Robinson and Charles Robinson.
Survivors include his sons, Ernie (Darla) Robinson of Erin, TN, James (Claudette) Robinson of Erin, TN, Jeffrey Robinson of Erin, TN, Richard (Sheena) of Murray, KY; sisters, Pat Cross of Wichita, KS and Mary Lou Carothers of Bath, Ohio; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be, William Patrick Turner, Jesse Eli, Aaron Hays, Wayne Reddish, Adam Hays and Maurice Skelton, Honorary Pallbearers will be Cephis Hays and Thomas Linville. Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post #9689, Erin, TN
