Robert Manning “Gilbert” Powell of Tennessee Ridge, Tn. passed away Monday March 20, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 4, 1929 in Ocilla, GA. Son of the late Thomas Lindsey Powell and Lillie Mae O’Malley Powell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Children Carlos Ray Powell, William Emery Powell, Kathy Corbett, Siblings Fred Powell, Theo Powell, Jimmy Powell, Gilbert Powell, Survivors include sons Robert Powell, Thomas Powell, Henry Powell, William Powell, sisters Pee Wee Powell, Eloise Handley, Edwina Baneston, 14 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10am until 1pm Wednesday. With funeral service in Albany, GA.
