Robert Van "RV" Parker, 89, Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare.
A celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m., Friday, June 2, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Steve Kirby officiating. Entombment will follow in Resthaven Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 4-7 Thursday and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Parker was born June 18, 1927 in Montgomery County, TN and was preceded in death by his parents, James Ellis and Mamie Hall Parker; and his daughter, Kathy Nicholson.
RV was the owner of RV Parker Plumbing and Heating, a member of Hilldale Church of Christ, he loved all things outdoors, hunting, fishing, farming and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Rich Parker; son, Darrell (Lynda) Parker; step-sons, Donnie Binkley, Richard Binkley; son-in-law, Victor Nicholson; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Derek Parker, Daniel Binkley, Donald Binkley Jr., Victor Nicholson, Keith Bearden and Chris Bearden.
