Robert Kelsey

Robert Francis Kelsey, 52, Clarksville, died Friday, August 20, 2010, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 noon Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Father Charles Mathew officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Kelsey was born November 6, 1957 in Aurora, IL and was the son of the late, John and Mary May Kelsey. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran and a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Gracie Kelsey; sons, William Clayton Thompson, Springfield, MO and John Peter Kelsey III, Memphis; grandson, Ethan Thompson, Springfield, MO; brother, John; sisters, Pat, Susan, Paula, Carol, Debbie, Laura, Lisa and Barbara; father-in-law, William Stuart and mother-in-law, Kazuko Shull. Family will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
