Robert Carlton “Runt” Hughes, age 70 of Erin, TN, passed away September 12, 2020 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday afternoon.
Runt entered this life on August 30, 1950 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Carlton and Elizabeth Hughes.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Josie Hughes; children, Lynn Hughes, Mark Hughes, Tim Hughes, Samantha Hagler; and brother, Al (Kathy) Hughes. Runt also leaves behind his grandchildren, Mark Hughes Sr, Kristen Hughes, Dawson Hughes, Kaleb Hughes, Dillon Dreaden, Landyn Dreaden, and Justin Hagler.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cary Rye, David Schmidt, Randy Webb, Kenny Baggett, David Barnes, and Randy Hollis.
