Robert Hembree

Robert Wayne Hembree, age 79, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 17, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Ted Denny officiating. Burial will follow at Blooming Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Robert entered this life on June 24, 1941 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Oliver and Gertrude Bowers Hembree. He was an equipment operator for the Montgomery County Highway Department for over thirty-five years. Robert was a Baptist and enjoyed making things with his hands. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ruth Jines Hembree, and siblings, Billy, Willard, Mickey, Riley, and Maude Hembree, Pearl Phillips, Dorothy Huntsman, Ruby Sapp, and Lucille Burnett.
Survivors include his sons, Randall and Steven Hembree; siblings, Dillard Hembree, Barry (Darlene) Hembree, Henry Hembree, Carolyn Dean, and Gail Belknap; grandchildren, Randall Hembree, Jr., Robert Hembree, Bret Hembree, Sherry Hernandez, Sandra Johnson, and Kenneth Bussell, and several great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hembree, Bret Hembree, Randall Hembree, Tim Tuley, Vincent Lee, James Knight, and Jahvonte Newell.
