Robert Harris

Robert Batson Harris, Jr., 55 Woodlawn, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Sunday, August 30, 2009, at Alive Hospice, Nashville, TN. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Central Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Carolyn Nobling officiating. Burial will be in Central Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and from 12 noon until the hour of service Thursday at Central Chapel United Methodist Church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Harris was born in Montgomery County, TN, September 10, 1953, son of the late Robert Batson "Bat" Harris, Sr. and Winona Faubion Harris. He was a member of the Central Chapel United Methodist Church, He was retired from Barcor Corp. in Guthrie, KY. Mr. Harris is survived by his daughter, Amber Harris-Hill of Woodlawn; granddaughter, Grace Hill; step-daughters, April Galle (Lee) Sanders of Hillsboro, TX and Staci Gulledge (Todd) Logue of Clarksville; brothers, Timmy Harris and Michael (Lynn) Harris both of Woodlawn; sister, Marsha (David) Anderson of Centerville; 5 step-grandsons; 2 nephews and 1 niece. Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Central Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
