Robert W. Guy, 73, Clarksville, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Alive Hospice, Nashville. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. A Graveside will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville. He was born October 17, 1935 in Mt. Sterling, KY and was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Elizabeth Woodward Guy; sister, Rose Marie Tolle; and his grandson, Robby Guy. Bob was retired from the U.S. Army as a SGM, where he spent two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the Fellowship Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge in Germany, and he was an avid Bowler and former Senior Bowling Champ of Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lykins Guy, Clarksville; sons, Bobby (Ruth) Guy, Clarksville, Gary (Dianne) Guy, Clarksville, Mike (Debbie) Guy, Pensacola, FL; brother, Leonard Guy, Mt. Sterling, KY; sister, Robert Neal, Mt. Sterling, KY; grandchildren, Tyler Guy and Jeremy Guy. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Guy and Jeremy Guy.
