Robert Cruise

Robert Wayne Cruise, age 69, of Cunningham, TN passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
Celebration of Life with Fire Department honors will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Ret. Chaplain Ernie Brockman officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December15, 2022 and again 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home.
A Masonic service will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Robert entered this life on June 5, 1953, in Cookeville, TN to the late Haskell and Jessie Gross Cruise. He was a 1971 graduate of Donelson High School. Robert went on to serve with Clarksville Fire & Rescue, earning the rank of Lieutenant. He dedicated 29 years to CFR, during which he served as the President of the Firefighter Local 3180 for 5 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #89 and the Bass Club.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Ray Cruise.
Survivors include his loving wife, Kathy Armes Cruise; children, John (Zoe) Getchell, Christopher (Delilah) Cruise, Wesley (Rachel) Cruise, and Amanda (Tony) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Owen and Adeline Getchell, Allison, Camille, Easton, Eli, Tobias, and Emma Cruise, Brady and Ethan Rodriguez; sister, Judy (Ed) Kovach, and nephew, Kevin Kovach.
