Ricky Downs, age 58 of Clarksville died Friday January 20, 2012 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday January 24, 2012 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with the Rev. Louie Montoya officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound,TN. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday January 23, 2012 and Tuesday 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Ricky was born on October 17, 1953 in Murray, KY son of Vernon and Elizabeth Downs. Mr. Downs was retired from the Commissary Ft. Campbell, a veteran of the US Army and a member of First Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Dixie Downs, father Vernon Downs and brother Johnny Downs.
In addition to his mother of Clarksville, he is survived by his brother, Richard (Betty) Downs of Clarksville; sisters, Faye Rosser of Clarksville, Beverly (Mike) Bearden of Oxford, AL, Gayle Downs of Clarksville, Donna (Chris) Peterson of Dover and Sherri (Wayne) Downs of Clarksville. And a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
