Richard Wimsatt

Richard Edward Wimsatt, age 75 of Cumberland City, passed away November 2, 2017 at St. Thomas Hospital West. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the First Assembly of God Clarksville. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be held Monday 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Richard was born March 12, 1942 to James Edward Wimsatt and Virginia Morton in Whitesville, KY. He was a member of the church family at First Assembly of God and retired from the US Army and from Trane Company. Richard is survived by his wife, Deborah Ann Taylor Wimsatt; sons, Ricky Carlnell (Fredia Ann) Wimsatt, Ronald Norvell (Coni) Wimsatt, and Robert Montrell (Valarie) Wimsatt; grandchildren, Dr. Ashley Saucier, Dr. Amber Wimsatt Childs, Richard Wimsatt, Kari Wimsatt, Tobey Wimsatt, Jamie Wimsatt, and Kaden Michael Wimsatt; sister, Darlene (Kenneth) Lindsey; nieces, nephews and 2 great-grandchildren.
