Richard Shiffer

Richard Ralph Shiffer, Sr. 71 of Woodlawn, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Rev. Byron Dumas officiating. Full Military Honors will be rendered.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until noon on Friday and McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Richard was born June 13, 1944 in Middle Town, NY the son of the late Quintin W. Shiffer and Thelma E. Decker. In addition to his parents, Richard is survived by his brothers, Howard Shiffer and Edward Shiffer.
He was a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Shiffer; sons, Richard Ralph (Lisa) Shiffer, Jr. and Scott C. (Carie) Shiffer; sister, Rose Schawlb; sister-in-law, Linda Shiffer; grandchildren, John Shiffer, Ashley Shiffer, Jade Shiffer, Madison Scott Shiffer, and Kristine Shiffer.
