Richard Crawford Hughes, 76, of the Salem Community passed away, Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m., Friday, June 27, 2014 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Mr. Hughes was born June 9, 1938 in Montgomery County, TN and was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Goldie Crawford Hughes; brothers, Mack Hughes, Howard Hughes, Paul Hughes; sisters, Laura Belle Baggett, Goldie Patterson, Annis Herndon, and Ozella Choate.
He was a retired from Acme Boot, Montgomery County Highway Department and was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Frances Morrison; and several nieces and nephews.
