Richard Benson

Richard Allen Benson, 56, Clarksville, died Saturday, November 17, 2007, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Chaplain Sherry Major officiating. The remains are to be cremated. Mr. Benson was born in Chicago, son of James Russell and Mary Louise Nobbelin Benson. Mr. Benson was a veteran of the U. S. Army, Captain of a security agency, a Christian and a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Club. In addition to his mother of Arizona, he is survived by one son, Richard James Clyde Benson of Salem, AR. four daugthers, Wanda Jet Jones of Clarksville; Lisa Starr Perry of Salem, AR., Louise Ann Jones of Moody, MO. and Pamela Dawn Owens of Salem, AR. One sister, Carol Anne Benson of Pinetop, AZ; and nine grandchildren.
