Rhonda Collett

Rhonda Louise Collett, age 77, of Waverly, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Pastors Beverly Dycus, and Denise Settle officiating. Burial will follow in Cook Cemetery. Her loving grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon.
Louise was born on July 1, 1939 to Sylvester and Ora Curtis.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by brothers, Cecil and L.J. Curtis; sister, Lorene Curtis Hodges; and her husband, Ivon Averitt.
Louise is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Scotty Collett; four children, Norma Cherry (Dwayne), Danny Collett (Ava), Teresa Mitchell (Tommy), and Rhonda Meadows (Shorty). Louise also leaves behind ten grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Louise was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family with all her heart. She was a good neighbor, homemaker, gardener, and the best cook in the world. She is a part of a passing generation of self-reliant individuals.
Louise attended Long Branch United Methodist Church. She loved the Lord, and her church family.
