Rhoda Jane Rye

Rhoda Jane Rye, age 90, of Clarksville, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Gibbs and Danny Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Rye's Cemetery in Houston County, TN.
The Rye family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Rhoda entered into this life on June 29, 1928 in Middlesboro, KY daughter of the late George and Lizzie Turner. She was a member of the Bible Church of the Living God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Forest Morgan Rye, son, Morgan Rye, and daughter, Etta Ruth Rye.
Survivors include her sons, Jackie (Trish) Rye, and Daniel (Brenda) Rye; daughters, Gail Schmidt, Belle (Don) Wolard, Judy (David) Byard, Linda Austin, Wanda (Eugene) McWhorter, Brenda (Frank) Reynolds, and Janet (Danny) Stone, twenty-seven grandchildren, forty-nine great-grandchildren, and twenty-nine great-great-grandchildren.
