Rev. Lawrence Robert Wilson, Sr., 66, Cunningham, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, May 23, 2010, at his home. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 31 at Riverside Church with the Revs. Harold Whitmer, Randy Lopshire, and Nathan Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 17, 1943 in Boston, MA, son of the late George Elmer Wilson and Sylvia Maude Blynn Wilson. He was also predeceased by his daughter Wendy Wilson, sister Georgia Coolige, and brother Bill Wilson. He was a retired baker and a member of Riverside Church. Survivors include his wife Mildred Hughes Wilson, sons Lawrence R. Wilson, Jr. and Christopher G. Wilson, Sr., daughters Patty Wilson Lefort, Laureen Mahoney, Christine Hoggard, Theresa Wilson-Santos, and Amanda Cordeiro, brothers George Wilson, Richard Wilson, and Alfred Wilson, sister Laura Wilson, nineteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
