Rev. Thomas O. Wilkins, 59, Clarksville, went to be with his Heavenly Father, Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Revs. Steve Louder, E.G. Sims, James D. Pounds and Ronald Nash officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Friday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born November 22, 1950 in Camden, AR and was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Marvin O. and Tommie Loree Owens Wilkins; sister, Judy Wilkins; and grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. C.E. Wilkins and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Owens. Rev. Wilkins was presently serving the Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sango. He also served in churches in Arkansas, Alabama and Tennessee and on various boards and agencies in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church as well as a trustee of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church Childrens Home in Denton, TX. He was actively involved in the building of Whitestone Korean Church. He is survived by his wife, Connie Davidson Clinard Wilkins, Clarksville; step-son, Chris (Jemina) Clinard, Clarksville; step-granddaughter, Carson Clinard; sister, Brenda (Charles) Guthrie, Slater, MO; brother, Marvin E. (Dianne) Wilkins, Rogersville, AL; nieces, Dawn Wilkins, Martin, TN, Misty (Jeff) Stoope, Paducah, KY, Mandy (Andy) Marsh, Lee's Summitt, MO; and nephew, Frank (Wendy) Guthrie, Slater, MO. Pallbearers will be Chris Clinard, Jeff Stoope, Frank Guthrie, Andy Marsh, Dickey Harris, David Baker, Dwight Threatt and Dawn Wilkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Elders of Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
